Account information. For some activities on Spottiness, like posting or flagging comments, you need a Spottiness account. We ask for your full name, username, email, and password when you create an account on the Site. We will display your name or user name with the comments you post. We use your email address and password to protect your account from unauthorized access.
Public content. You can contribute to the Site by writing "Spots" (see definition in our Terms of Service), posting comments, or voting on other user's contributions. We store these contributions (your "Public Content") and display them to other users. Note that if you include personally identifiable information in your Public Content, it can be used and viewed by others. We are not responsible for the information you choose to include in your Public Content.
Cookies. We transfer cookies to your computer through your Web browser to recognize your browser and make it easier for you to navigate our website. A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that is stored on your computer. Although you can probably turn off your browser's capacity to accept new cookies, we recommend that you leave cookies enabled.
Feedback. To respond to you effectively, we may store any communication you give us, such as feedbacks, questions, or complaints.
Public Content.If you post content for public view on the Site, we may distribute such Public Content to a wider audience by sharing it (or portions of it) with third parties so that they can publish it on their own websites and media platforms.
Legal Requirements and Investigations. We may share information with third parties to comply with legal requirements. We reserve the right to investigate abuses on the Site and enforce our Terms of Service.
The Site is not directed to people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. We will remove "Spots" targeting children and terminate children accounts as soon as we become aware of their existence.
If you are a registered user of the Site, we provide you with tools to access or modify the personal information you provided to us.
The Site may contain links to third party websites with which we have no affiliation. We do not share your personal information with those third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
